Thankful Tuesday

Today as I was thinking what I was thankful for. I have many things that I am thankful for but today I am thankful for Kale. He is the one in this family with a sense of humor. He always says the cutest thing. On Sunday Kale lost his very first tooth. He was so excited. On Sunday Kale said, "Now that my tooth is gone my boogers won't stay." I said, "What?" He said, "I used to put my boogers there and now my tooth is gone." I suggested that he use a tissue to put a booger on. He is so cute. He is a such a sweet kid.

Thankful Tuesday

I am thankful for the spiritual gifts that the Lord has blessed each one of us with. I recently returned home from a 12 day dental trip. My aunt(who is my age) and her husband are the dentists. It was so awesome to stay with her and her three small children. While there we were able to talk about our lives, our kids, our beliefs, our memories, and ect. We have always been different. We have different personalities, different wants, and different needs. We talked a lot about the Gospel and what it means to us in our lives. The thing that we both thought was awesome is that we each had differnt strengths. It was apparent that we each have a mission in life in which we need specific spiritual gifts. I realized that with our individual spiritual gifts the Lord's work is able to be completed. I am unique in the Lord's eyes but yet I have a part in the whole plan of the Lord.

Thankful Thuesday

Today as I am getting ready to go to girls camp I am counting my calling as a blessing. I am the beehive advisor. We currently have 16 girls in our class. I am thankful for this calling because of the girls in my class, the women that I work with, and the oppurtunity to continue to learn.

We have an exceptional class. Very different personalities but they all get along. They ALL are so special. You can feel the greatness in their spirits. They are strong women that have a desire to choose the right. They have different family situations but understand the power of free agency. They are a great bunch of girls. I can truly say that I love them.

The ladies that I work with are incrediable. We all have different strenghts and talents. When we come together we draw on the different strenghts. Our common goal throughout our presidency is to teach the girls about Christ. We have a desire to teach them with the spirit of the Lord. I look up to these women a lot. I am so thankful that I have the oppurtunity to work with them.

The things that I learn are priceless. I learn so much as I talk with the girls, as I prepare and teach my lessons, as I listen to the spirit. I am thnkful for every little activity. I always leave a little bit better than when I came.
